Electrifying songs to get you into the Halloween spirit

Killer Jams

By Valentina Yanez

“I remember Halloween!” wails Glenn Danzig in the Misfits’ “Halloween.”

(Hollywood, Calif.) — With Halloween probably being canceled this year, I think we can all relate to those lyrics. It seems we have to rely on our memories of past Halloweens and movies or music to experience the thrill of the spookiest time of the year.

Whether you plan to have a horror movie marathon or experience Halloween events from the comfort of your car, it might not feel the same. So, to help bring that feeling back, I made a playlist of ghostly classics from many genres including new wave and R&B.

Get into the Halloween spirit by going to a “Pet Sematary” with the Ramones or experiencing what it’s like to be a “Human Fly” with The Cramps in Killer Jams on Spotify. I hope these killer songs help bring that exciting feeling of Halloween approaching, back.
